Chichester based national maritime charity, the Shipwrecked Mariners’ Society, is again selling a lovely selection of marine and traditional Christmas cards and gift items which can be viewed and purchased online at www.charitycardshop.com/sms or in person at its premises at: 1 North Pallant, Chichester, from 4th November onwards on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only from 10am – 4pm.
The Shipwrecked Mariners’ Society was founded in 1839 to support the widows and orphans of those lost by shipwreck; these days it provides financial help to merchant seafarers, fishers and their dependants who are in need.
